Forsake All Hope

This painting is titled "FORSAKE ALL HOPE" aka "INFERNO"
From the original Dante's Divine Comedy verse: "Abandon hope all ye who enter here". This painting has been inspired by Dante's allegorical epic poem. Virgil is the guide who takes the reader through the Dante's examination of the afterlife, which travels through the Inferno (Hell), the Purgatorio (Purgatory), and the Paradiso (Heaven). The viewer is in the front of the gates to the Inferno. Despite of the title, this dynamic abstract painting is full of energy and life, thanks to predominantly red color and vibrant movement of the lines which results in painting characterized by strong color and texture.
