This painting is part of the Fruit Study Series which resulted in several small representational paintings, where the fruit forms are simplified but still recognizable; therefore they are not truly abstract images. All paintings from this series are executed in acrylic in bright vibrant colors, on stretched canvas or canvas board. The paintings are finished with several layers of high gloss varnish.
